Held In conjunction with the Longest Day of Play & Community Health Fair on Tuesday, June 21 at Rockcastle County Middle School track. Help us promote family fitness and fight hunger! Race registration is FREE with donation of non-perishable food items for the CAP Grateful Bread Food Pantry. Events include the Fastest Kid in Town and Half Hour Charity Chase.
Fastest Kid in Town
We’ve been wondering, just who is the fastest kid in this town, or in Rockcastle County? We’ll find out June 21, when there will be two races. Race one is for kids age 7 and under (1/8 mile or halfway around the track), and one for kids age 8 – 10 (1/4 mile or one lap around the track). Prizes to all participants (while supplies last), awards to the fastest female and male in each division.

Half Hour Charity Chase
Run or walk around the track as many times as you can in 30 minutes, and Rockcastle Regional will donate $1 for every lap you complete to the charity you choose (a list of charities will be provided). As in years past, the registration fee is a canned good that goes to the Grateful Bread Food Pantry. (Limit 200 participants in the Charity Chase).
