Rockcastle Regional is currently seeking a full-time Patient Access Coordinator. Duties include: assist with financial assistance applications including charity care and government programs, demonstrate working knowledge of the Affordable Care Act and Kentucky’s Medicaid Enrollment Process, travel to organization sponsored events to assist with enrollment activities, provide customer service and billing assistance, patient navigator for community resources, support utilization review, and provide patient follow up concerning hospital financial assistance. Ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent time management skills, exhibit exceptional organizational skills, competent computer skills and strong communication skills. Certified Application Counselors (CACs) (also referred to as kynectors) through the Kentucky Health Benefit Exchange, preferred. Degree in social work or equivalent is a plus.
