Introducing the Rockcastle 2 x 1 Relay, part of Rockcastle Regional Hospital’s Countywide Stride race series. Find a partner and come on out to this unique event August 19 at the industrial park (Progress Drive) in Mt. Vernon!
 
You’ll run (or walk) the one-mile on a flat and fast course, then hand off the baton to your partner, who will do the same.
 
For those who are more competitive, we’ll award the top 3 winning teams in three categories in this chip-timed event: age 15 and under; 50 and over, or the Open division (anyone, any age). There is no separate award category for walkers, and teams will compete against each other regardless of gender. (Teams may be male/male, female/female, or female/male).
 
Don’t have a partner? Don’t worry, sign up anyway, and we’ll match you with one. The registration fee is an incredibly low $15 (through August 14th), and all participants will receive a Rockcastle Regional cooling towel.

 

Any proceeds will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass.
