The Southern Kentucky Area Health Education Center (AHEC) is seeking a Regional Program Coordinator to lead health career pathway initiatives across our 15-county service region through the Appalachian Regional Commission POWER Initiative. This position will coordinate and implement programs that encourage students to pursue careers in nursing, medicine, dentistry, behavioral health, and other healthcare fields while collaborating with schools, healthcare organizations, colleges, and partner AHECs throughout Kentucky. Qualified candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in public health, education, healthcare, or a related field (master’s preferred) and at least three years of experience in program coordination, health education, or workforce development. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and data management skills and be passionate about strengthening the rural healthcare workforce.
