Rockcastle Professional Pharmacy is seeking a full time, dependable, and customer-focused pharmacy technician to join our team. This position would be a 40 hour per week position alternating Saturday shifts with one day off during the week. Duties may include receiving and processing prescriptions accurately, preparing and labeling medications under pharmacist supervision, managing inventory, ordering stock, checking for expired medications, answering customer questions and handling phone inquiries, and assisting with insurance claims and processing. In addition, this position will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment and supporting the pharmacists in day-to-day operations and patient care.

Candidates must be licensed or certified as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB certification preferred but not required). Candidates must also be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment, friendly, professional, and customer-service focused, as well as comfortable using pharmacy software and technology. High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
