RN – Emergency Room (PRN)

Department: Emergency Department

Description: Rockcastle Regional Hospital is currently seeking a Part-time RN to work a minimum of one 12-hour shift per week in our Emergency Department. Must be able to work a variety of shifts including dayshift, nightshift, mid-shift, and weekends and holidays as needed. Works within patient care units and other areas as assigned. Our Emergency Department consists of 9 beds and an IV infusion area. One year of Emergency Department or ICU experience preferred. Candidate must be proficient in all practical/general nursing procedures; demonstrate ability in maintaining good relations and effective communication with all customers; nursing, health care team members, medical staff, patients, and families.

Qualifications: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited school of nursing, current Kentucky Registered Nurse License; or active compact state-issued license, Basic Life Support (BLS), and ACLS.
