About Rockcastle Pediatrics

In 2004, when Dr. Callie Shaffer finished her pediatrics residency at the University of Kentucky, her dream was to move home to Rockcastle County and open a pediatrics practice. She made that dream a reality, and today RockPeds is known as an excellent place to receive care, and it continues to grow with patients from Rockcastle and surrounding communities. More recently RockPeds has welcomed another Rockcastle native to the practice, pediatrician Dr. Sarah Oliver. And we have been very lucky to add two nurse practitioners, Courtney Browning, APRN and Megan Taylor Pittman, APRN to our group of top notch pediatric health care providers. In addition, we have a caring staff who provide excellent care and service to our young patients.
